THEME:  IN ANYTHING YOU DO, GIVE IN YOUR BEST

Greetings beloved people of God. I welcome you to "My Catholic Homily Digest". As we celebrate the memorial of St. Bruno today, I want to reflect with us on the theme "In Anything you do, Give in your Best". It is often said that opportunity favours the prepared minds. The irony of hardwork is that we do not know when its rewards will come. Hence consistency and perseverance is very important in everything we do in life. Consistency reveals our true identity and character, It makes us trustworthy persons, whom any responsibility can be entrusted to.

Beloved, Many of us live our lives, seeking the approval of others. We spend so much energy trying to impress authority figures or our loved ones, or trying to please an employer, but we are seldom committed to the task entrusted to us in private. We are full of eye service, we can boast about our past accomplishments, we relish the glory, wealth and talent we had in the past, and we live our present without zext. In the firstl reading of today, St. Paul recounted to the Galatians, how he persecuted Christians with a powerful zeal, and when he was converted, he still brought in the same amount of energy that he had used to persecute Christians in to his new found faith. In the Gospel today also, Martha who is used to cooking and serving, still maintained her activities while Christ was there. She did not shy to express her routine duties. Thus beloved, unless we are involved in ungodly activities, we should learn to be consistent in any course we are convinced about and do it with all our strength and God will help us. God bless you

Oh that today you would listen to his voice harden not your hearts (Ps.95:7-8)

LET US PRAY : Lord Jesus, to be in your presence is life and joy for me. Free me from needless concerns and preoccupations that I may give you my undivided love and commitment....Amen
