THEME: YOU SHALL EXPERIENCE THE MIRACLE OF MULTIPLICATION ALSO

Greetings beloved people of God. I welcome you to "My Catholic Homily Digest". On this second day of the month of December, I want to reflect with us on the theme: " You Shall Experience the Miracle of Multiplication Also". Beloved, one of the humbling mystery of life is the mystery of growth, increase and multiplicity. How little beginnings could have great endings. Does it not interest you how God always seems to start small. He only made two humans at the beginning, and during the Great Flood, he arranged for just two animals of each kind to come into the ark, so that the earth would be repopulated. How the church was born with only a few men and women gathered in an upper room? Beloved, God always works in miraculous ways, when we think all hope is lost and there is no other way, He shows himself mighty, and when he works for his people he gives abundantly, more than we could deserve and more than we need, for he knows what we need and in their right proportions.

In the Gospel reading of today, we read about the miracle of multiplication of loaves and fish, a sign and a symbol of what God always does, if we surrender the little resources that we have to him. If the little boy in the Gospel passage had kept his lunch pack of two loaves and five fish for only himself, the miracle of multiplicity would not have taken place. Hear me child of God, the statements that; "givers never lack", and that "it is in giving that we receive", are true and valid. More so, whatever we offer to God is always multiplied and given back to us. I know that many of us have great needs which we want God to grant to us, so we are afraid to even let go of the little that we have. But listen to me child of God, to meet these great needs of ours, God always starts with what we have. Its easy to despise the small resources that we have many time, but the key to experience multiplicity is to surrender the little that we have into the hands of the Lord.

Hear me beloved, God has a plan for your life, that is why he still kept you alive today. He wants to make you a blessing to multitudes especially during this season of love, sharing and gifts. To fulfil that plan, the first thing you need to do is to surrender yourself and all you have to God and trust him completely. Often times, we are tempted to think that what we have might not be enough to meet all our needs, and so we hid or store them away from God and we are reluctant to even share it with others. This is wrong and anyone who does this is denying himself the grace of picking up seven more basket of blessings. Beloved, if you want to experience the miracle of multiplication this season, to partake of the banquet of rich food, of fine wines, and of juicy drinks which God is preparing for his elect this season. If you want the Lord to wipe every tear from your eye, to take away your shame, to destroy death from your family this season and to uncover every evil veil enwrapping you, then do these: Surrender all your dealings and ways to God completely and truthfully, offer him your resources, be a source of blessing and happiness to others, and try your best to live a holy and just life. God bless you

Do not be afraid for you will be remembered in my priestly prayers throughout this month. God bless you
