THEME:  IF YOU NEED HELP, DON'T BE TOO SHY TO CRY OUT.

Greetings beloved people of God. I welcome you to "My Catholic Homily Digest". As this new working begins, in which we celebrate the memorial of St. Margaret of Scotland and St. Gertrude, virgin, I want to reflect with us on the theme " If You Need Help, Don't be too Shy to Cry Out". Beloved, I am moved to share this reflection with us because I believe that many of us are in dire situations, where we obviously need help, but we feel too ashamed or proud to ask for it. Child of God, the reason why God gave us two hands is so that they could support and help to wash each other. Hear me, no man is an island, we all whether rich or poor, need some form of assistance at some point in our life. So do not feel too shy or proud to call for help when you need one.

Beloved, in today's Gospel, the blind beggar who persistently called out for help despite the discouragements he got from the crowd, was finally granted his wish, when Jesus beckoned on him. He knew that he had a problem that needed solving, so he was not shy of calling for help, since he could not solve his problem alone. Hear me child of God, do not die in silence, do not suffer alone, do not fall into depression that can affect your performance and output. Summon the courage, look for the right person or people, do not mind the discouraging comment or voice from within you,  and ask for help.  Listen, if your husband, wife, boss or superior is sapping life out of you, seek help through counselling. If your business is failing you, seek financial advice on how to grow it back, if you are hungry and broke, ask for help, do not starve. If you have sickness of whatever kind, do not hide it, seek medical help on time. If your life is being ruled by sin and godlessness, get a spiritual director fast, if the events of life are making you to lose your mind, go and see a therapist or talk to a close friend about it and finally, if you are weighed down by the uncertainties and vicissitudes of life, walk up to the EUCHARISTIC JESUS in the BLESSED SACRAMENT, and talk to him about it (Cf. Matthew 11:28). Mind you, just like the blind beggar of Luke 18:35-43, discouragement will come, you will feel shy, pride might creep in, some of your plea will go unheeded, You might even be insulted, but do not let any of these keep you from crying out if you need to. God bless you

#End Sars,

#End Political Oppression

#End Bad Governance.

Oh that today you would listen to his voice harden not your hearts (Ps.95:7-8)

LET US PRAY : Lord Jesus, you said we should call to you each time we need help, grant me the grace not to feel too shy or proud to ask for assistance when i need it most...Amen

 HAPPY NEW WEEK BELOVED FRIENDS
